Dr. Michael Musacchio is a neurosurgeon specializing in minimally invasive spine surgery techniques. Dr. Musacchio earned his medical degree and completed his general surgery and neurosurgical internship at Rush University Medical Center in Illinois, and now has more than 19 years’ experience in neurological surgery. Rush Medical College honored Dr. Musacchio with resident teacher of the year in 2006 and 2007. During his studies, Dr. Musacchio made scientific presentations at the International Stereotactic Radiosurgery Society Meeting in Belgium as well as numerous other presentations and posters across the country. He has been published in several peer-reviewed journals and has contributed scientific chapters to the website Orthopedics Hyperguides. He also serves as a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, and Illinois State Neurosurgical Society. Dr. Musacchio is currently a clinical investigator in the Barricaid U.S. Post- Approval Study.
